Narrow Boats
Price fallows produces narrow boat shells in three styles comprising of Traditional, Semi- Traditional and Cruiser lengths of up to 70 feet.
Also available are wide beam shells also in styles of Traditional, Semi - Traditional and Cruiser with widths of 10 feet 3 ins, 11 feet and 12 feet and all up to 70 feet in length.
We can also produce single piece base plates up to 58 feet long with corresponding hull sides, cabin sides and roof plates.
Design and Construction:
Our Shells have been well designed and fabricated to a high standard. We use steel to EN 10025 standard sourced from British mills and stockholders. All our steel is stored under cover to prevent rusting. The floors of our boats are made from 10mm, the hulls sides from 6mm, the cabin sides from 5mm and the cabin roofs from 4mm steel
All seams are welded both sides with single 'V' butt weld, preparation where required
A single coat of high build zinc phosphate primer is applied to all outside surfaces above the rubbing strip and high build bitumen is used on the hull sides up to the rubbing strip. All welds below the water line are ultra violet tested.
Delivery:
We strive to accommodate customer timescales but in order to maintain our quality standards we will not rush the work. We therefore are happy to give the customer a guided tour of the factory to discuss their requirements before placing an order. We offer a complete service from choosing a suitable design through to delivering to the boat fitters on our own transport.
